Academic Qualifications
- Have minimum period eight of (8) years relevant work experience three (3) of which should have been at the level of Senior Officer;
- Have Bachelors degree in Laws (LLB) from a recognized institution;
- Have Masters degree in Laws from a recognized institution;
- Have Postgraduate diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law;
- Have Certificate in Management Course from a recognized institution;
- Be registered with a professional body;
- Be proficient in computer applications; and
- Have demonstrated managerial, administrative and professional competence in work performance and results;
- Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
Responsibilities

Preparing and reviewing legal documents/instruments;

Preparing legal opinions; drafting legal documents, leases and contracts;

Preparing legal briefs and opinions; undertaking research on specific legal areas;

Identifying issues and areas for policy formulation and review;

Ensuring compliance with the policy, legal requirements and provisions in all the undertakings of the Agency;

Advising the Agency on all legal matters;

Representing the Agency in litigations and other legal matters.
