Ahmednasir Abdullahi Advocates LLP are offering pupillage placement for six aspiring law students who are training to qualify as advocates in Kenya. The programme runs for one year, including the mandatory six-month training required by the CLE. The trainee lawyers will undergo rigorous training over the one-year period in both dispute resolution and commercial law to gain a well-balanced and practical experience.
To be considered for the pupillage program, you must be enrolled in the Advocates Training Programme offered by the Kenya School of Law. The ideal candidate must hold an LLB degree from a Kenyan or foreign university with no less than a Second-Class (Upper) Honours.
All pupillage applications should be addressed to our Human Resource Manager and must comprise the following documents:
- a cover letter;
- Curriculum Vitae highlighting your educational qualifications;
- relevant work experience and extracurricular activities (if any);
- copies of all academic certificates (primary, secondary and university), including transcripts;
- a copy of your national identity card or passport; and,
- List of references.
Applications for the 2024 Pupillage Programme are open until the 24th November 2023. Interviews for pupillage will take place in the first week of December.
