A midsized Law Firm is recruiting for the position of Associate Advocate in the Litigation Department. The candidate must possess the following qualifications and skills –
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws Degree from a reputable University.
- An Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with at least 1-2 years post-admission or comparable proficiencies.
- Prior experience in litigation and Court practice.
- Practical experience in legal drafting
- Mastery in the science and art of legal writing and advocacy
- Experience and practical knowledge in drafting documents before the Court of Appeal and other Courts and Tribunals
Complementary Skills
- Integrity and honesty
- Self-initiative and desire for growth Inter-personal communication skills
- A good public speaker
- Ability to work with no supervision at all.
