LEGAL CLAIMS LIAISON OFFICER

A position has arisen for a Legal Claims Liaison Officer to be based at our Head Office. We intend to fill this position objectively and competitively.

JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Legal Services Manager, the Legal Claims Liaison Officer will be tasked with ensuring the provision of a consistently high-quality customer experience through quality service interactions between customers, the legal department, and the regulator in compliance with the overall service strategy and standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Respond to potential/existing customer inquiries by providing and/or clarifying the desired information.
  • Resolves complaints by clarifying issues and exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing solutions, and escalating unresolved complaints.
  • Responding to queries by the regulator on matters touching on legal claims.
  • Complaints management by proper escalation of client queries through the CRM system.
  • Generate reports on the various engagements and feedback collected.
  • Attend promptly to all incoming calls and notify the relevant parties on the same.
  • Attending to incoming and outgoing mails and recording them chronologically.
  • Promote the organization’s customer service charter.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate from a recognized university.
  • Having any qualifications in the legal field is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and package.
  • A minimum of two years experience in a customer care or related position
