Junior Associate Advocate

  • Conducting client interviews and comprehensive legal representation of clients in both litigious, non litigious and transactional work.
  • Attending all courts and tribunals in the Republic of Kenya, regionally and internationally as the case may be.
  • Developing appropriate case strategies and legal strategy for clients
  •  Assisting the Senior Associate and the Managing Partner in appropriate client-care and client management as a firm-client interface.
  • Conducting business development for the firm in accordance with the firm’s business development policy and quarterly plan.
  • Ensuring that all matters handled are promptly updated at EliteLaw and any other legal firm management software the firm may employ.
  • Representing the law firm in legal and networking events as may be requested.
  • Undertaking any other lawful and reasonable tasks as may be requested by the firm leadership.
  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized university. (Candidates with a Second Class Upper Division have an added advantage)
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law
  • Certificate of Admission to the Bar and Current Practicing Certificate
  • Between 0 to 3 years post admission qualification
  • Ability to work independently but also in collaboration with other team players.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
  • Stable temperament, respectful and cordial.
