Training on Human Rights Strategic Litigation and Trial Advocacy

Are you a lawyer committed to using the law as a tool for social change?

PILnet, in partnership with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), is offering a free, intensive four-day training on Human Rights Strategic Litigation and Trial Advocacy taking place in Cape Town, South Africa, 13–16 November 2026.

The program is highly practical and focused on building core litigation skills, including case theory development, litigation planning, examination and cross-examination, working with expert witnesses, as well as courtroom simulations.

We have 50 places available. Participants will be selected based on demonstrated commitment to public interest and pro bono work.

The training takes place immediately after the PILnet Global Forum (10 – 12 November), organized in partnership with ProBono.Org.
