2nd East African Community International In-house Counsel Convention

About the In-house Counsel Convention
Welcome to the 2nd East African Community International In-house Counsel Convention. This year’s Convention will be hosted at the exclusive Hemingways Hotel, Watamu along the Kenyan Coast. This event builds on the successes of the inaugural Convention hosted in Zanzibar under the theme the “Future of In-house Counsel in Cross-Border Co-operation”

The Convention is tailored specifically to address the needs of lawyers, policymakers, regulators and compliance managers working within corporates, government entities, non-governmental organizations and other establishments.

With two days of high-level programming, keynote speeches, plenary, roundtables, multiple break-oust to suit all interests, and 30+ hours of networking, the In-house Counsel Convention will provide an invaluable opportunity to learn from, and build networks with colleagues from across the region. Sessions will feature a host/moderator and panelists who will share their perspectives and insights on the topics at hand.

In addition to the keynote speeches, plenary, and break-out streams, the conference will feature an exhibition booth for investors and sponsors during the conference days. The booth will provide a platform for companies and organizations to showcase their products, services and latest innovations.
The program will culminate into a Gala dinner and the In-house Counsel awards 2024. The awards will recognize and honor the best In-house Counsel in the region in various categories.

Participants who successfully attend the 2 (two) day conventions will earn CLE/CPD points and will be awarded a professional certificate from East Africa Law Society Institute.
