Legal Interns/pupils (2)
Qualifications
▪ Hold an LLB degree from a reputable university
▪ Have interned in a law firm for at least 3-6 months from the time of joining campus
▪ Proficiency in Computer packages
▪ Exception Legal Research and Writing skills
▪ Good communication and inter-personal skills both verbal and written
▪ Excellent professional conduct, etiquette and good work ethics.
Front office admin (1)
Role and Key Responsibilities
▪ Monitor and ensure all operational activities are carried out smoothly at the office
▪ Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Partners/associates and other
staff
▪ Receive documents/incomings at the reception and coordinating dispatch of documents
▪ Handle and manage electronic copies of files and draft documents
▪ Plan and co-ordinate appointments, and client communications
▪ Manage, sort and distribute incoming mailings, deliveries and other communications, and prepare
correspondence and enclosures for dispatch
▪ Filing, including daily filing and scanning of correspondence and documents and the opening,
closing, storage and retrieval of client files as per detailed procedures
▪ Maintain and update the Partner’s, Associates’ and the clerk’s diary to ensure appointments and
court attendances are well coordinated
▪ Proofread letters to ensure accuracy in grammar and spelling
Qualifications, skills and Experience
▪ Diploma in Front Office/Secretarial work or equivalent
▪ Proficiency in computer packages
▪ At least 2 years experience in a similar role
▪ Have basic knowledge and understanding of legal terminology
▪ Good communication and inter-personal skills both verbal and written
▪ Have attention to detail
▪ Good planning and organization skills
Court/Conveyancing Clerk (1)
Role and Key Responsibilities
▪ Preparing basic court documents and filing of court pleadings both manually and via applicable
online platforms
▪ Drafting ofhearing/mention Notices, and parties’ invitations and affidavits of service
▪ Preparing and handling a range of land, company and intellectual property related documents and
transactions via applicable online platforms
▪ Preparing status reports on court matters and transactions
▪ Updating Partners’/associates’ diaries.
▪ Attending the various government registries including lands registries, companies registries, KIPI
to file documents, follow up and process until closure.
▪ Compile legal documentation into files and maintain an organized filing system▪ Ensure all legal documents submitted comply with the law and applicable procedures in the various
government department/ministries
▪ Delivery and service of documents.
Qualifications, skills and Experience
▪ Diploma in Law or related area
▪ Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
▪ Proficiency in computer applications
▪ Valid court process server certificate
▪ Good communication and inter-personal skills both verbal and written
▪ Powerful negotiation skills
▪ Good planning and organization skills
General Office Cleaner/Messenger Job (1)
Role and Key Responsibilities
▪ Proper cleaning of the office, office equipment, utensils on a daily basis. Report any defects
observed to the Administration Officer on timely basis.
▪ Making tea/coffee for staff and guests
▪ Ensuring the officeis always clean and tidy
▪ Raising purchase request for office utilities.
▪ Running errands and t general messenger duties
▪ Support administrative and front office actions as required from time to time
Qualifications, skills and Experience
• KCSE Certificate
• At least 2 years experience in a similar role
• Good communication and inter-personal skills both verbal and written
• Good command of the English Language both spoken and written
• Organized, dependable and a good time manager.
